• Myron Ebell, Director of Global Warming and International Environmental Policy, Competitive Enterprise Institute
• Donna Kalvels, Manager of Contracting and Procurement, The National Parks Service
• Craig Obey, Vice President of Governmental Affairs, National Parks Conservation Association

This seminar will address competitive outsourcing, a proposed solution to the continued budget crises within the National Park system. Our distinguished speakers will address such issues as:

1. Will increased outsourcing of jobs affect the condition and assessment of park health?
2. Will the mission of the National Park Service change?
3. Will the public perception of parks be altered?
4. What alternatives to outsourcing exist and how acceptable would they be to the public?
