Eileen Ciesla

Eileen Ciesla is a freelance journalist and editorial consultant at CEI. She served as CEI's Warren Brookes Journalism Fellow from 2001-2002. Formerly, she was a staff reporter with the American Spectator where she covered economics and tax policy issues. She began her journalism career as an intern with the National Journalism Center in Washington DC in 2000 where she wrote for Investors Business Daily. Her writings have appeared online in WorldNetDaily and The American Partisan. Before arriving in Washington, Ms. Ciesla worked as a business analyst with Thomson Financial Services in Newark, NJ and as a consultant with KPMG Accountingrecent op-eds & articles
